The Ibanez George Benson was a hit from its introduction. With a fairly small body, the original design was a departure from traditional jazz guitar designs.
The Ibanez George Benson GB-200, the top of the Benson line, turned the compact Benson design back towards the traditional model with a larger body, around 16 inches, with a spruce top, maple back, sides and neck and ebony for the fingerboard, bridge and tailpiece. A tobacco sunburst, seen here, was offered.
This 2007 Ibanez George Benson GB-200 is in excellent condition. It's got very little wear, mostly just light marks on the bound maple pickguard. The original Ibanez case is included.
