S/N: 1280051, built during 2007 at the Martin plant in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
No longer in production, the Martin D-18 Authentic 1937 is a recreation of a pre-war guitar, built to 1937 specifications, with an Adirondack spruce top mahogany for the back, sides and neck. Indian rosewood is used for the fingerboard, headplate and bridge. This model was built from 2006 to 2012, and has been supplanted by the D-18 Authentic 1939.
This fabulous guitar is in good condition with a small, repaired crack by the bass side fingerboard tag. It has a huge sound with all the sparkle and presence of a well-played Martin. It dates to 2007 and the original hardshell case is included.
