S/N: 223, built during 2006 in El Cajon, California
R. Taylor guitars are a high-end project by Robert Taylor, founder of Taylor Guitars built in small batches using limited availability materials by the Taylor's most experienced luthiers. Currently, the R. Taylor line is in hiatus.

This example was built during 2006 and features the Style 1 body with an asymmetrically-braced, 65-foot radius Engelmann Spruce top, Cocobolo back and sides, and ebony for the fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay. The top and back linings are solid cocobolo. The scale length is 25.5 inches and the nut width is 1 13/16 inches. The neck is mahogany, with Gotoh 510 tuners. Of course, it has built in pickups with the usual Taylor style control and battery mounts.

This beautiful instrument is in excellent condition with the slightest of wear. It appears to have been hardly played, so while it sounds good right now, it should open up with use.

The original R. Taylor hard-shell case is included.
