2006 Gretsch G6122-1962LH Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Left Handed (SOLD)

I have to admit that I've never actually seen one of these. Here's a Gretsch G6122-1962LH Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Left Handed, built in 2006 and in excellent condition.

The Gretsch G6122 Chet Atkins model was very influential and used by many promiment players. It's a great sounding, very versatile guitar - and very classy.

Built in 2006, this Gretsch G6122-1962LH Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Left Handed has some subtle differences from the newest catalog versions. First, there's no mute system installed, and on some of the current models, the neck Filter 'Tron pickup has been replaced with a Super 'Tron in the neck (this has blade magnets). The hardware, including the Bigsby, is gold plated.

This guitar is in excellent condition; the walnut tinted finish is in very clean shape. The original Gretsch case is included.
