The Gretsch G6128TDS Duo Jet is based on the late 1950's version, the G6128D. At that time the Duo Jet bore a rosewood fingerboard, hump-block inlays and equipped with a Bigsby (the T in the model name) and two deArmond DynaSonic pickups (the DS designation). They are chambered, and very light, responsive, and comfortable to play.
Very similar to the George Harrison signature Duo Jet, this 2005 Gretsch G6128TDS is in very good condition. The bridge base has been glued to the top, so it's not going to be sliding around - the main drawback of these types of instruments and the reason that many models now feature 'pinned' bridges.
This guitar plays very well and comes with its original hardshell case.
