The Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe is a full-size, fully hollow archtop guitar with arched laminated maple top, back and sides, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and three P-90 style pickups. It's very similar in design to the mid-1950's Gibson ES-5, though that model has a different control layout, especially as the Switchmaster version..
This 2004 Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe was built during November, 2004 at the Peerless plant in Korea. The build quality is quite good and the instrument itself is in very good condition. It has the full archtop tone, and the three P-90 type pickups are combined with three volume and one tone control.
There are a lot of tones available; for those who feel the need to change pickups, there are now a lot of excellent options available for P-90 styles. As is, it goes right to both jazz and late-50's rock tones.
A hardshell, arched top case is included, and the pickguard is in the case.
