Grant MacNeill has done an overhaul on the instrument, with the strings set up low at 7/64 inches, which we equate to “Latin Jazz” action. He converted the to a 12 hole tie block on the bridge which improves down-bearing at the saddle, a step that noticeably improves bass response and balance. The frets have been leveled and polished and D’Addario Pro Arte hard tension have been installed as standard factory strings.
The guitar is in excellent condition with minor wear and tear from normal use. There is a crack in the top adjacent to the fretboard on the bass side which is stable and needs no additional attention.
An Everest hardshell case is included.
This is an excellent opportunity to get a Ramirez classical guitar at under $1000!
