The Heritage Super Eagle uses a single cutaway 18 inch body built of solid woods, with a carved spruce top, carved flame maple back, and flame maple sides. The neck is 3 piece maple with a bound ebony fingerboard. The neck profile is relatively slim, and is quite comfortable to play. Stock hardware includes gold plated Grover Imperial tuners, a gold plated Heritage tailpiece, and gold plated pickup covers.
This Super Eagle dates to 2003 and has been slightly modified, with Lawlor 'low wind' humbuckers replacing the original Seymour Duncan models. As well a Faber tune-o-matic bridge has been installed and the wiring has been altered to 1950's spec. The finish is in pretty good shape though there are a couple of blemishes - on the neck by the 1st fret and on the lower treble side bottom. It plays well and the original hardshell case is included.
