From 2003, this G&L ASAT Deluxe Semi-Hollow features a familiar single-cutaway body shape with a lovely quilted maple top on a chambered mahogany back. The bolt-on neck is maple, with an ebony fingerboard. The finish has a very nice honey tone that nicely sets off the maple top.
For wiring, humbuckers are used - a Seymour Duncan '59 at the neck and a Duncan JB in the bridge position. A 5-way switch, master volume and tone controls plus a toggle switch for coil splitting, and a Neutrix locking jack complete the electronics. The bridge is a gold, standard G&L hard-tail unit with six fully adjustable saddles. The tuners are also gold and G&L branded.
This guitar is in very good condition with only minor play wear and no damage. It plays cleanly and well, and the semi-hollow body, reminiscent of a Telecaster Thinline, is very comfortably light.
The original hardshell case is included.
