SOLD!!! 1996 Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary Sunburst

The Fender Stratocaster took the guitar world by storm when it appeared in 1956, eclipsing even the spectacularly successful Fender Telecaster. In 1996, for the 50th anniversary of the Fender company, the Fender Custom Shop produced 2,500 Anniversary Stratocaster guitars.

Built at the Fender Custom Shop during 1996, the Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary model features a flame maple top and back, gold plated hardware, a gold 50th Anniversary coin on the headstock rear, vintage style pickups, sunburst finish, and rosewood fingerboard. The neckplate carries the serial number, S0133 of S2500 and the Fender 50th Anniversary logo.

This instrument is in good condition with some light wear and minor fret wear. The gold plating is slightly worn, as usual around the edges, and the original black hardshell case is included.
