1993 Guild D-6 (SOLD)

Here's a good deal - a Guild D-6 Dreadnought acoustic guitar, built during 1993 in Westerly, Rhode Island. The Guild D-6, a non-cutaway model, was built between 1992 and 1995, and features a spruce top with mahogany for the body and neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge. It carries a satin finish and gold Grover Roto-Matic tuning gears.

This guitar is in good physical condition, with a few dents and bumps. In terms of playability, it's all there, with a good neck set and lots of saddle exposed. The neck profile is reminiscent of 1960's and 70's models - slightly narrower with a rounded C profile.

This is a great guitar for flat-picking; Guilds are often seen in bluegrass contexts, as they tend to have a lot of power. The mahogany body helps with articulation.
