Manuel Bellido has been building guitars in and around Granada, Spain, originally apprenticing with Eduardo Ferrer, and since 1961 has had his own workshop.
Here we have a 1987 Manuel Bellido Classical Guitar, built with a spruce top and Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. The neck is Spanish cedar with ebony fingerboard, and it has a scale of 654mm and nut width of 52mm. The finish is french polish, with numerous marks on the top; structurally the guitar is completely sound. Fret wear is very light. A Hiscox case is included.
