The Fury Concord was built in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan between 1973 and 1985. Glenn McDougall founded Fury Guitars in 1962, and has been building since then.

The Fury Concord has a number of interesting features. It is a double cutaway thinline hollowbody, with the top and back carved from one solid peice of Honduras mahogany. The maple back has a tuned reflex chamber - this is the raised section visible on the back. The top has two stylized F-holes.

The neck is three-piece maple with a rosewood headplate and ebony fingerboard with zero fret and position marker dots on the bass side. The scale length is 25 inches - the Concord was also available with a shorter 23.75 inch scale.

For hardware, the Fury Concord sports Grover Roto-Matic tuners and pretty much everything else was Fury designed. There are two angled, stacked humbuckers, a Fury trapeze tailpiece and an adjustable bridge on an ebony and maple base. Wiring is pretty standard with a selector switch and individual volume and tone controls.

This example of the Fury Concord dates to around 1974 and is in overall very good condition. There are a few small marks on the body and light to moderate fretwear. The original rectangular Fury -logo'd case is included.
