Built from 1965 to 1982, the Fender Pro Reverb delivered 40 watts (70 watts after 1976) into two 12-inch speakers and is a very versatile amplifier.
This example was built in 1973 and uses the 40-watt layout. It has been professionally modified to the original 'blackface' circuitry, which has been regarded as delivering some of the best tones of any amp. Because of the lower power compared to amps like the Fender Twin Reverb, the Pro Reverb tends to break up at more manageable volume levels. Still, the two 12-inch speakers move a lot of air and the power is well used. It's also lighter than the Twin!
This amp is in good working order, but it has been used over the years and has honest gig wear. The grille cloth and tolex are a bit worn, and the upper back panel has several holes that look like they were control mounts.
