As a response to the folk wave of the late 1950's and early 1960's, the Gibson RB-175 banjo was introduced in 1962. An open-back model, it uses the long-neck design basically invented by Pete Seeger, which gives the player easy access to two open keys by adding or removing a capo at the third fret.
This 1963 example is in good, original condition and comes with an original brown fibre case.
