The Kay company produced a huge number of instruments, like this Kay Swingmaster, and they were used by many musicians up to the professional level and appear on many successful recordings. Hubert Sumlin and Jody Williams used Kay guitars bought for them by Howlin' Wolf, and these appeared on Wolf recordings until 1955 or so.
The Kay Swingmaster was available with two pickups (K672) or three pickups (K673), and uses a fully hollow, single cutaway body with F-holes. The neck bolts on. The Kay Swingmaster K673 has individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, and a rotating pickup selector switch. This switch lever was originally cream - on this guitar, it's brown, but appears to be the the same design as the original cream lever.
This guitar is in good playing condition and comes with a gig bag.
