The bridge plate has also been replaced; the original plates on these guitar was quite small and most have worn out by now. |
Playability/Action | This guitar has been refretted and had a neck reset, so it plays close to Martin factory specs. There’s lots of room to move the saddle around for action adjustments. |

Comments | This is a great-playing – and great-sounding! – D-28 from 1950. It’s had the maintenance that guitars of a certain age really need to have – a neck reset and a refret – so it’s ready for years of use. It has a full, warm, rich tone with lots of clarity and separation. |
