Neck | Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, ebony headplate. Mother-of-pearl Gibson logo, leaf and split-parallellogram position markers. |
Frets | Original medium frets with very little play wear. |
Body | Curly maple laminate top, back and sides, with binding on top and back. Fully hollow with twin tone bar longitudinal braces on the top. |
Finish | Tobacco sunbust in nitrocellulose lacquer, in excellent condition. |
Hardware/electronics | Standard ES-175 appointments with two humbuckers, pickup switch, individual volume and tone controls; Gibson-branded Kluson style tuners with plastic keystone buttons; nickel Tune-o-matic bridge on rosewood base, hinged tailpiece. |
Playability/Action | Currently strung with 12-50 flatwounds, this guitar plays very well. We will of course set it up for the player. |
