Comments | Introduced in 1950, the Gibson CF100E was one of the first electric/acoustic flat top models with a cutaway; quite advanced for its time. Great playability up to the 7th fret. Shallow neck angle has brought the action up to 8/64″ treble side, 10/64″ bass side when measured at the 12th fret position. Bridge saddle is low, with only 4/64″ showing. This example has been stripped to natural and has quite a bit of wear and tear but sounds great. Comes with a Japanese black hardshell case in 8/10 condition. |
