Comments | 1961 was an exceptional period for Fender and the Stratocaster. The rosewood fingerboard had been introduced in 1959; this has the early ‘slab’ style fingerboard with clay dots. This is a beautiful, fully playable example. This guitar includes a copy of a bill of sale – as used! – from a shop in Toronto, the bridge cover, arm, cable, and strap. It’s in good condition except for the decal, which has dried and flaked in areas. |
