Comments | This 2002 Ibanez Artist AR2000 Prestige is a great illustration of the quality level Ibanez is capable of. Ibanez makes a lot of different guitars, and their Artist series is near the top. The AR2000 Prestige was built between 1998 and 2003, when it was superceded by the AR3000. This example is in great condition, with most of the wear appearing on the plated parts (in particular the bass edge of the bridge pickup). The back contours make it very comfortable to play, and the neck shaping gives full access to the upper registers. It plays extremely well and is well suited to a wide style of playing; it’s dressy enough to fit into the poshest spots, too. |
