Upright basses became almost immediately obsolete and they are hardly seen outside acoustic jazz and bluegrass contexts; however, the desirability of the growl of an upright bass led to fretless modifications on electric basses. This 1967 Fender Precision Bass has seen a fair amount of use and is in good overall condition – Chris rates it at 7/10. |
