S/N: N/A. built around 2008 in the Jerry Jones shop in Nashville, Tennesee, USA.
A few years ago, Jerry Jones retired and sold off his shop and fixtures, so his guitars are hard to find now. Drawing heavily from the very popular Danelectro designs of the 1950's and 1960's, Jerry Jones guitars were better built yet carried the feel and tone of the originals.
This Jerry Jones singlecut guitar carries a Sea Foam green finish and two 'lipstick tube' pickups, with a selector swithch, master volume and tone control. The chrome bridge plate has a tripod mount and a rosewood saddle insert, like the original design. The bride and tuning gears are made by Gotoh, which is to say they are very good.
This guitar plays well, has a nice weight and I like the neck profile - the neck is not too wide, and relatively slim. The scale length is 25 inches and the nut width is 1 11/16 inches.
This guitar is sold without case, but hardshell cases and gig bags are available.
