SOLD!!! 1996 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Silver Sparkle

The Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California has been producing special runs of guitars like this 1960 Stratocaster since 1987. While the Strat has stand-out lines anyway, the Silver Sparkle finish makes this unmisssable.

The photos don't really convey how sparkly and refractive this finish really is. It's in very good condition with one or two hard to find flaws - there is one small pressure mark on the back comfort cutaway and the refraction makes it very, very hard to see.

Otherwise this guitar is visually outstanding and plays as you'd expect a Fender Custom Shop instrument to. It is built as a 1960 model and so it has an alder body, curly maple neck and rosewood slab fingerboard. The three-layer pickguard has a slight minty tint. Pickups are Custom Shop 1960 models. The original brown rectangular hardshell case is included.
