Here is Dave Martin playing the David Wren 1981 Concert guitar at The Twelfth Fret:
Comments: Here is a beautiful sounding David Wren Concert model from 1981 which features a classic tone wood pairing of Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood. The concert sized body is very comfortable to play and provides a very well balanced tone with lush overtones. This particular example has some play wear but the tone has really opened up with the playing time and the resulting sweet warmth along with great clarity and sustain makes for a very engaging tonal experience!!
Body: Sitka spruce top, re-glued center seam with cleat, maple body binding, rosewood back and sides, lots of general wear marks on the body with some small dings and dents.
Neck: Mahogany neck with medium elliptical neck profile, ebony fretboard, wren and flowers fretboard inlay, minor fret wear.
Hardware and electronics: 12fret made passive contact pickup, gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons.
Case: Black hardshell case in 6/10 condition.
