Here we have a Warwick Streamer Stage II Bass with Natural Oil and Wax finish, built during 2010 in Markneukirchen, Germany.
The Warwick Streamer Stage II bass uses a compact, curved body style originated by Stuart Spector, aided by Ned Steinberger, first appearing with the 1977 Spector NS bass. These visually subtle features can greatly improve the instrument’s comfort.
For this Warwick Streamer Stage II bass, the original purchaser specified a Warwick Streamer Stage II, with a seven-layer neck composed of Ovangkol and Afzelia and a Wenge fingerboard, and ebony headplate. The rest of the body is Afzelia.
The electronics feature an MEC active J-J set, with two Jazz style pickups and an active volume control and 3-way EQ. The stacked volume control has a concentric push-pull inner section that bypasses the preamp and shifts the bass into passive mode.
Warwick tuners are at the head, and at the tail a Warwick tailpiece and 3D bridge are installed. All the metal parts are gold plated.
Overall this bass is in very good, clean condition with minor play wear.
This bass is sold with its original a Rock Case flight case, which contains the User Kit folio. This folio carries the multi-lingual User Manual, warranty cards, strings, and beeswax for finish maintenance.
