❌SOLD❌ Taylor T5 C2 Koa Slimline Electric, 2006

The Taylor T5 C2 Koa is now discontinued but was introduced in 2005 to meet the needs of touring musicians who had to pare back the number of instruments they carried.   Built to simulate the tones and responses of solidbody, semi-hollow and fully acoustic models, the T5 line succeeded in its aims while also looking great on any kind of stage.

This Taylor T5 C2 Koa has a serial number dating it to October 10, 2005. It’s built with Sapele for the back and sides, with nicely figured Hawaiian Koa for the top. The neck is also Sapele, with a bound Ebony fingerboard sporting the ‘Spires’ inlay pattern. Ebony is also used for the peghead overlay and the bridge. For hardware, the headstock carries sealed Taylor branded, gold plated tuners, and Taylor’s three pickup system with a body transducer, bridge humbucker with a ‘lipstick’ style visible element, and a hidden neck humbucker. Controls are on the upper bass bout and on the upper base side.

This example is in good clean condition with a few body dings and a small chip at the top of the head stock. This guitar is sold with its original hard shell case.
