The Taylor 610e starts with a classic Dreadnought body design, but uses Maple for the sides, back and neck. This model was built from 1998 to 2017, and discontinued as the 2018 V-Class instruments were introduced.

This Taylor 610e dates to the September 01, 2015 and is in very good, clean and original condition. It uses an X-braced, Torrefied Sitka Spruce top paired with Flame Maple for the sides, back and neck, with Ebony for the bridge, fingerboard, head plate and backstrap (the layer on the back of the head). The inlays are acrylic and the tuners are sealed Taylor models. And of course, it has the Taylor ES-2 pickup and preamp system with the battery box and output jack at the tail-block.

The original brown Taylor hard shell case is included.

“As part of our dramatically revamped 600 Series, the maple Dreadnought Taylor 610e will surprise players who wouldn’t expect maple to produce such warmth, richness and sustain. As a result, it will compete favorably with its rosewood or mahogany Dreadnought counterparts. The non-cutaway body style is custom-voiced for power and clarity with an ultra-fast response for robust picking and strumming. Despite the Dread’s potent low-end output, customized back bracing and a torrefied (specially roasted) spruce top bring a beautiful balance to the overall sound profile. The torrefied top also produces an aged, played-in sound from the very first strum. Other tone-enhancing touches include the use of protein glues and ultra-thin finish to minimize dampening.

Aesthetic features include a hand-rubbed “Brown Sugar” stain on the back and sides, which gives maple’s figure a beautiful violin-hued appearance without adding thickness to the finish, plus grained ivoroid Wings fretboard inlays, an inlaid ebony backstrap, ebony binding with ivoroid purfling, an ebony/ivoroid rosette, a striped ebony pickguard, and Taylor’s Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics. The guitar includes a deluxe hardshell case. “
