The first thing you notice on the Reaper-6 is the satin charcoal burst on the poplar burl wood top. The unique wood grains provide a slightly different look on each guitar. The super comfortable arm bevel reveals the natural swamp ash body which has a great balance of warmth and treble snap. The 5 ply maple and walnut neck has a ultra thin C shaped neck and is set to the body with a super smooth almost neck through like design. Your hand can glide all the way up to the 24 fret and never bump in to a bulky neck heel. This neck practically begs you to play across all registers.
The Schecter R Reaper-6 neck also features carbon fiber reinforcement rods to keep the neck stable in all kinds of environments. The electronic and hardware are simple but solid and the Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups are hot and geared towards rock and metal.
