The Rickenbacker Model 4003W (W indicating the use of Walnut) was first unveiled in 2014. This variant of the standard 4003 is constructed with a Maple through-neck center section and fingerboard, along with Walnut body and head extensions.
This particular model was produced during the 8th week of 2015 at the Santa Ana, California facility, like all other Rickenbacker guitars. Despite some minor signs of use, it remains in excellent condition overall.
The electronics include a pair of High Gain single coil pickups, a selector switch, individual volume and tone controls, and both Mono and Ric-O-Sound ‘stereo’ outputs. The schematic can be viewed at this link.
