Reverend Rocco Bugeye Thinline Electric, 2002- No Longer Available

Instrument Categories: , , , ,

The Reverend Rocco Bugeye Thinline Electric was one of Joe Naylor’s first designs around 1996 and this 2002 model is seen with the Bugeye metal top finish.

Built in Warren, Michigan during 2002, this example is in very good, clean condition with only light wear. Fairly unusually for Reverend Rocco models, this one is equipped with the Reverend Fulcrum tremolo; apparently this unit was installed to only 65 models.

Construction of the Reverend Rocco shows influences from companies like Danelectro. The neck is Maple, bolted to a thinline body built of various woods and laminates, a pre-finished textured back panel and the metal-plate top. The head has a set of Grover Mini Roto-Matics and the body the Reverend Fulcrum tremolo bridge. For electronics, a pair of humbucking pickups with individual coil split switches run through a three-way selector switch and master volume and tone controls. And it has the original banjo-style arm rest!

This guitar is in very good, clean and original condition with no real signs of wear.

The original Reverend-branded hard shell case is included and includes instruction sheets and Reverend strap.
