John Page was the founder of the Fender Custom shop and built many special, one off instruments for top end players including Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, and Pete Townsend. Now running his own company, John Page incorporates many of improvements to these classic designs. Based on the classic Stratocaster design, the John Page Classic Ashburn features staggered tuners, John Page Bloodline pickups, threaded neck bolts, a contoured heel, bass-side position markers for better visibility, and a snap-in trem arm.

The Michael Messer Lightning is a nickel-plated bell brass body, 1930’s style 12-fret single cone resonator guitar, intended to provide the tone and vibe of a vintage blues guitar, and it does this well. You get the vintage look and tone, but with modern playability and reliability at an affordable price. These are great instruments for fingerstyle and bottleneck blues playing. The Michael Messer Lightning has the characteristic attack, projection, resonance and volume of a ‘steel body’ guitar. As expected, it’s bright, but with a warmth and depth that avoid harshness and add a sweetness to the edge. The modern features include an adjustable truss rod.

The National Koa Estralita Deluxe Resophonic Guitar is a single-cone, F-hole reso-phonic design, normally made from walnut. The Koa Estralita Deluxe uses solid Koa for the sides, Koa laminate for the top and back, Honduras mahogany for the neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard. The resonator itself is a 9.5 inch hand spun National cone with maple biscuit. The headstock is faced with a very classy engraved ivoroid, and National branded open tuners with black buttons are fitted. The bone nut width is 1.825 inches, and the scale length is 25 inches. A National hard-shell, arched top case is included.
