First appearing in 1962, the Gibson B-25-12-N 12 string acoustic guitar found wide acceptance during the 1960’s folk boom. The smaller B-series body is very well balanced tonally, and the price point was lowered by use of mahogany laminate for the sides, while the top and back were solid wood. This example was built at the historic Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan during 1963.
