❌SOLD❌ Boucher Wild Goose 000 Steel String Guitar Sunburst, 2012

❌SOLD❌ Boucher Wild Goose 000 Steel String Guitar Sunburst, 2012

The Boucher Wild Goose 000 is built using Adirondack spruce for the top and bracing – the Boucher Shop is located in Quebec’s Adirondack mountains, a bit east of Quebec City on the South Shore, and the spruce is local. These are great playing and sounding instruments. This Boucher Wild Goose 000, built during 2012 is in great condition with only light wear. This model is now discontinued, as Boucher now focuses on Studio, Bluegrass and Heritage Goose models. These guitars are all very well built and definitely worth reviewing if you have the chance.

❌SOLD❌ Lawrence Nyberg Cittern Black Walnut and Redwood, 2018

❌SOLD❌ Lawrence Nyberg Cittern Black Walnut and Redwood, 2018

This lovely Lawrence Nyberg Cittern pairs a Redwood top and Black Walnut for the sides, back, and back strap (an extra layer on the back of the head). The neck is Mahogany, with Ebony used for the fingerboard and its binding, bridge, and the head plate. A K&K pickup is installed and connected to and end pin jack. Unusually for an instrument of this type, a steel string guitar-style ebony pin bridge is used rather than a floating bridge with an additional tailpiece.

❌SOLD❌ Fender Squier JV 1957 Stratocaster Sunburst, 1982

❌SOLD❌ Fender Squier JV 1957 Stratocaster Sunburst, 1982

Here we have a Fender Squier JV 1957 Stratocaster Sunburst reissue, built during 1982 for Fender Japan by Fuji-Gen Gakki. This is an excellent instrument from an interesting point in Fender’s history. By the end of the 1970’s Fender, under CBS management, was struggling. Import copies were getting better all the time, which was made very clear to Fender executives touring Japanese factories with a view to doing some production there. At this time, Fender also hired three executives from Yamaha.

❌SOLD❌ Larrivee D10 Dreadnought Steel String Guitar Natural, 1994

❌SOLD❌ Larrivee D10 Dreadnought Steel String Guitar Natural, 1994

The Larrivee D10 is based on the most popular guitar design – the classic D body square shoulder dreadnought that first appeared in the early 1930s. The Dreadnought itself was originally built around 1917 for the Oliver Ditson company, but as a round shouldered model. The first Square shoulder dreadnoughts appeared around 1931, under Martin’s own name and with the D model designation.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow, 1993

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow, 1993

The construction of the Gibson Les Paul Special is simple. Mahogany is used for a slab body, and the neck. Rosewood is used for the bound fingerboard – and that’s it for wood selection. Hardware is also straightforward, with Kluson Deluxe tuners at the head – originally strip tuners, now individual gears -and at the other end, a stop bar tailpiece. Electronics include a pair of P-90 single coil pickups, pickup selector and individual volume and tone controls; the output jack is on the side.
