SOLD!!! Eastman T64V P90 Bigsby Thinline Hollowbody, Amber Antique Varnish

SOLD!!! Eastman T64V P90 Bigsby Thinline Hollowbody, Amber Antique Varnish

Built on the concept of the thin bodied yet fully hollow archtop electric guitar, the Eastman T64V delivers the tone, feel and look of early 1960s models. Gibson produced the first of these in 1959 with the ES-330, and in 1961 extended the design to their Epiphone line as the ES-230 Casino. That model was quickly picked up by British players including Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison who used theirs on many hits.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson TB4 Snakehead Trap Door Tenor Banjo, 1924

❌SOLD❌ Gibson TB4 Snakehead Trap Door Tenor Banjo, 1924

Here’s a lovely older instrument, built around 1924 – The Gibson TB4 Snakehead, trap door tenor banjo, with Maple for the neck, rim and folding ‘trap door’ resonator. This fine instrument has its original parts, though the case is long gone, and was built at the end of the Lloyd Loar era (1911 to end of 1924), which produced many historic innovations. The Gibson TB4 was part of the TB or Tenor Banjo series introduced in 1921 as Gibson attempted to stabilize its place in the banjo market.

Twisted Wood Koa Concert Ukulele KO-1000C

Twisted Wood Koa Concert Ukulele KO-1000C

Here we have a Twisted Wood Koa Concert Ukulele. Built using solid Hawaiian Koa for the top, back and sides, the neck is Mahogany with Ebony used for the fingerboard and bridge. In a departure from traditional Ukulele construction, a pin-style bridge as found on steel string guitars is used. This type of bridge is much easier to restring than the tie-block type found on traditional Ukes, and on Classical and Flamenco nylon string guitars.

❌SOLD❌ Fender American Vintage ’72 Telecaster Custom Reissue Sunburst, 2012

❌SOLD❌ Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom Reissue Sunburst, 2012

The Fender American Vintage 72 Telecaster recreates a version of the Telecaster built from 1972 to 1981, a major change from the Tele Custom introduced in 1959. For 1959 with the introduction of Rosewood fingerboards, Fender introduced an ‘upmarket’ Telecaster Custom, with the new Rosewood board and a body with binding around the top and back. The rest of the guitar was standard Telecaster. However, by 1972, Fender Marketing was feeling pressured because of its close association with thin and bright single coil pickups, while Gibson was almost synonymous with fat sounding humbuckers.

❌SOLD❌ Pedro de Miguel Flamenco Negra Guitar, 1999

❌SOLD❌ Pedro de Miguel Flamenco Negra Guitar, 1999

Here we’re looking at a Pedro de Miguel Flamenco Negra Guitar, built during 1999 and showing signs of being well used for its intended purpose.  Traditionally, Flamenco guitars are built very lightly, with Spruce tops and Cypress for the sides and back, and with a low action.  The goal is to produce a bright, percussive and responsive tone with fast attack.   Because of the light colour of Cypress wood, these are referred to as Flamenco Blanca guitars.
