The Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA is the direct descendant of a Chet Atkins idea – a nylon-string guitar built to be amplified. The initial models were built by Gibson as the Chet Atkins CEC (Cutaway Electric Classic). Eventually, Gibson discontinued the model but Godin took the concept and improved it dramatically, even including synthesizer interface electronics.

The Gibson 1956 Les Paul nearly reached the model’s evolutionary peak after its 1952 introduction. At this point the neck angle had increased and the new ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece had been added – all that remained was the late 1957 introduction of Gibson’s new humbucking pickups.

The Fodera Emperor Standard 5-String Bass is an extremely well designed, hand built bass originating in Brooklyn, New York. These exceptional instruments are intended to meet the needs of demanding professional bassists. The Certificate of Authenticity for this Fodera Emperor Standard 5 example is dated 12/3/19, and the documentation describes it as having an Ash body with two-tone Flame Maple cap, and bolt-on 24-fret Maple neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard and the truss rod in ‘Normal’ orientation, accessed at the body end of the fingerboard.

Influenced heavily by the Sheraton used by Noel Gallagher in Oasis, the Epiphone Supernova was built from 1997 to 2005, with a signature pickguard and features making it the Noel Gallagher Supernova. It was available in a variety of finishes including the Manchester Blue seen here, and a custom Union Jack graphic.
