Brand: Oskar Graf
Instrument Categories: Classical and Flamenco, Guitars, REDUCED, SOLD
Here is a very unusual and very good instrument – an Oskar Graf baritone fan-fret classical guitar, built during 2017 at Graf’s shop in Clarendon, Ontario. Oskar Graf is a well-respected luthier who has been building for many ears, and is now approaching retirement. His skills are well demonstrated here.
This interesting instrument starts with standard classical materials – a Red Cedar top paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back, bridge and head plate, Mahogany for the body blocks and neck and Ebony for the fingerboard. The tuners are made by Oskar’s brother Jorg Graf in Burnstown, Ontario.
From there, it has a multi-scale, fan-fret fingerboard and bridge design. The scale length is 25.59 inches (650mm) on the high string and 26.57 (675mm) on the lowest bass string. The outside strings are tuned down to C.
The original Hiscox lightweight flight case is included.
