This Oscar Munoz AP72 Classical Guitar dates to May of 2019 and sports a French Polish finish over European Spruce, Indian Rosewood and Spanish Cedar.
Typical of hand built models from Granada, this guitar is built in the Spanish style with an integrated ‘slipper’ heel neck to body joint. The top and top bracing are European Spruce, paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back and bridge. The neck, body blocks and back bracing are Spanish Cedar, properly known as Cedrela odorata. The fingerboard is a solidly black Ebony while the head plate, also an Ebony, has a fair amount of brown figuring. The finish is French Polish, allowing the guitar to vibrate with very little restriction.
This Oscar Munoz AP72 Classical Guitar is in very good, clean condition and plays well.
Sold with its original Rapsody molded hard shell case.
Oscar Munoz has been building full time in Granada, Spain since 2014 and in 2017 won the Silver prize at the Antonio Marín Montero International Guitar Builders Competition.
