Brand: Martin
Instrument Categories: Acoustic Steel String, Guitars, SOLD
The Martin OME Cherry is a recently introduced Martin model, based on the OM body, itself derived in late 1929 from a 14-fret neck 000 model.
Built with FSC – “Forest Stewardship Council” certified woods, including Sitka Spruce, Cherry and Mahogany, the OME Cherry also comes stock with a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT1 pickup and preamp factory installed. This pickup system is not an afterthought, but was designed into the guitar and the battery access and output jack are built into the tail block for easy access.
Martin also runs the OME Cherry through PLEK machines for accurate fret levelling.
This Martin OME Cherry example was built during 2018 at the C F Martin plant in Nazareth, PA and is in very good clean condition with almost no wear of any kind. As a 000 / OM body guitar, it’s very comfortable to play, with a much smaller over-body reach than a Dreadnought size. These designs also offer a full, warm tone with great representation throughout the frequency spectrum, making them ideal for fingerstyle playing.
Sold with the original blue hard shell case.

As pioneers in sustainable guitar building, Martin proudly partners with the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) to bring you a line of great sounding, sustainable wood guitars.
