The high resolution images provided allowed Martin’s design team to see the past in incredible detail and recreate numerous hidden features and subtle nuances from Martin’s “golden era.”

All the details have been taken into consideration from minute differences in bridge plate thicknesses to unique bracing pattern subtleties and the delicate hide glued cloth side reinforcement strips. The handwork, finesse and incredible attention to detail required for these instruments has helped to create the most authentic “New Old” Martins ever!

This beautiful Martin D-28 Authentic 1941 is based on a D-28 from the Martin Museum and features Madagascar rosewood sides and back, Adirondack spruce top and all the 1941 D-28 appointments including the neck barrel, heel, diamond, head taper and slots!
