Comments	The Martin Custom Shop D18 Sunburst features Adirondack Spruce scalloped bracing, figured Sitka Spruce tops, and ebony fingerboards and bridges. This Martin Custom Shop D-18 Sunburst is an outstanding instrument. Without being played in at all, it’s bright, full, crisp and clear with brilliant ringing trebles and rich bass and midrange. What a sound – and it’s just going to get better. This is a re-issued posting. This instrument was placed on a hold in our basement, but it is now available again with full warranty status.
Serial Number	1730589, built early 2014 at the C. F. Martin facility in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, USA.

Neck	Mahogany neck with unbound ebony fingerboard, shell dots as position markers.
Frets	Standard Martin frets.
Body	The classic Martin D size, the Dreadnought, with mahogany back and sides and spruce top. Faux tortoise pickguard and binding;; ebony bridge with black bridge pins.
Finish	Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish; clear on the back and sides, satin on the neck, and a very nice sunburst on the top.
Hardware/electronics	Nickel plated C. F. Martin Logo open gears with butterbean buttons. Bone nut and saddle.
Playability/Action	This wonderful instrument plays very well right out of the case. It’s going to be a great guitar when it’s played in.
