The Martin 000-18 has a beautiful aging toned top in Sitka Spruce married with genuine mahogany back and sides. The body is edged with tortoise binding and has a a polished gloss finish. The 24.9 inch short scale model’s mahogany neck features a modified low oval profile with Performing Artist taper, a width of 1.75 inches at the nut and a satin finish for smooth playability. The headplate is Indian Rosewood with a large old-style Martin decal. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony, with bone used for the nut and compensated saddle. For metal hardware, nickel open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs are used.
