Now out of production, the Larrivee LJ15 Rosewood 12 String is based on the Larrivee Jumbo body, with Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate and a Sitka Spruce top. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany with Ebony for the bridge and ivoroid-bound fingerboard. The tuners are a Schaller M6 Mini set. Its sound is full and rich with great representation throughout the harmonic range, and plenty of volume and projection.
This Larrivee LJ15 Rosewood 12 String dates to March 31, 1992 while Larrivee had their shop in Victoria, British Columbia. It’s in overall good condition with minor play wear and a few scuffs to the gloss finish, and has had a K&K Pure Mini pickup set added. There’s lots of saddle projecting above the bridge, which indicates a good neck angle and many more years of playability.
The included case is a quality TKL arched top hard shell model, and may be original; it is not Larrivee branded.
