Brand: Larrivee
Instrument Categories: Acoustic Steel String, Guitars, SOLD
The Larrivee L-05 uses the popular L-body design and pairs Sitka Spruce with Mahogany providing a rich, even blend of tonal response with plenty of sparkle, volume and projection.
This natural-finish example dates to 1994 and was built at Jean Larrivee’s shop in Victoria, British Columbia. Materials include the Sitka Spruce top, Tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard. The rosette includes an Abalone ring. As stock, this guitar is strictly acoustic with no electronics.
It is in good playing condition and has had some work done; the bridge was recently removed and reglued and a setup performed at The Twelfth Fret Repair Shop.
Like all Larrivee guitars, the tone is rich and full, with even representation throughout the spectrum. These guitars are great for fingerpicking or flatpicking.
The original hard shell case is included.
