Brand: Greenfield Guitars
Instrument Categories: Classical and Flamenco, Guitars, SOLD
Built in Montreal PQ during 2010, this Greenfield C1 Classical Guitar features a Red Cedar and Rosewood pairing and plenty of advanced features and options.
Some of the features on this Greenfield C1 model are no longer listed as available options. The top is Red Cedar, carrying a Spalted Maple and Pāua rosette and is paired with a Lutz Spruce lattice bracing. The backstrap, bridge, sides and back are Rosewood, and the back has a (now discontinued) Mahogany radial bracing pattern. The lower bass bout carries a Laskin Arm Rest, and the Mahogany neck uses an elevated Ebony fingerboard for improved access to the upper registers; the heel has the Greenfield ‘Swoosh’ shaping to add comfort when playing high on the neck. The headstock carries Rubner tuners with plain gear plates and ebony buttons.
This beautiful guitar is in overall good condition and has recently been serviced at The Twelfth Fret Repair Shop. A crack in the top between the soundhole and the treble waist was closed, glued and cleated and is nearly invisible. It plays very well.
This Greenfield C1 is sold with its original Calton ‘Splatter’ finish lightweight flight case, a model that looks as if it had been left unattended in a room with Jackson Pollock.
