Released in a limited run of 1200 instruments during 2013, the Gibson Slash Signature Les Paul sports an AAA-grade flame maple top and a new ‘Rosso Corso’ or Racing Red finish, and of course with the distinctive Slash graphic on the head.
Well known for his work with bands like Guns ‘N Roses, Velvet Revolver and many side projects, it’s natural that there would be a Gibson Slash Signature Les Paul. This model is based on a weight-relieved Les Paul Standard and Slash’s preferred neck profile.
Unusually for an instrument leaving the Gibson shop, the Slash Signature carries pickups by Seymour Duncan (also Slash Signature models). Like a Les Paul Standard, it’s built with a Maple cap on a Mahogany body – with weight relief cavities – and a Mahogany neck with bound Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The tune-o-matic style bridge and stop tailpiece are by TonePros. As is modern practice, pickguards are not factory installed.
This beautiful example was built during 2013 and is in very good clean condition with only minor wear.
The original hard shell case is included.
