This won’t last long – a relatively rare Gibson ESDP 335 ‘Electric Spanish Dot-Neck Plain-Top’, built as a limited edition in 2006 and in great condition.
The Gibson ESDP 335 was identical to other 335 models – the distinguishing characteristics are the use of dot position markers instead of blocks, and plain, un-figured Maple laminates for the body. For hardware, there’s a set of Grover Roto-Matics at the head, a standard tune-0-matic and stop tailpiece set, and a pair of Classic 57 pickups with standard wiring.
This Gibson ESDP 335 example dates to September 22nd, 2006 – it’s just had a birthday and was built at the Gibson plant in Nashville, Tennessee before the devastating 2010 floods! It is in very good, clean condition, with minimal wear. It does not seem to have been played much, as fret wear is very light and the finish has very few, and light, marks. The original knobs are in the case, and have been swapped out for a set of Gold Gibson knobs.
The original Gibson-branded, arched top hard shell case by TKL is included.
