❌SOLD❌ Gibson 1957 Les Paul Junior Reissue TV Yellow 2018

Here we have, in  fantastic condition, a  Gibson 1957 Les Paul Junior Reissue in TV Yellow – this colour was formulated to help these show up on black and white televisions.

The Les Paul Junior was built as a single cutaway, single P-90 pickup, slab body model from 1954 to 1958 and marketed as an entry level model.  It was available in three finishes – Cherry, Sunburst and TV Yellow.  The body and set-neck are Mahogany, and the fingerboard Rosewood.  In its initial form and until the mid 1960s, that meant Brazilian Rosewood;  since then, with very few exceptions, Indian Rosewood has been used.  Tuners are Kluson Deluxe strip style models with creme plastic buttons.  The bridge is a simple stop-bar wraparound that, like acoustic guitar saddles, can intonate pretty well.   For electronics, there’s a single P-90 single coil pickup running through a  volume and tone control.  On the headstock, reflecting the finish,  the decal reads “Les Paul TV Model”.  

This Gibson 1957 Les Paul Junior Reissue is in great condition with almost no wear.  It plays well,  has a nice weight, and is very resonant. This is a very fun guitar to interact with.   

This guitar is sold with its original case and Certificate of Authenticity.
