The Fibenare Erotic Dalmat model, built in Budapest Hungary, delivers high build quality and a distinctive European look. This example dates to 2012 and is in very good, clean condition with minimal wear.
There are some differences to what’s listed on the builder’s website, specifically a center single-coil pickup and a floating trem bridge in place of the wrap-around hard tail.
The body is built of Ash with a Poplar Burl top. The set-in neck is Maple with a bound 24-fret, Padauk fingerboard and Poplar Burl headstock overlay. For hardware, vintage Kluson style locking tuners are at the head, and at the other end a Fibenare floating trem. The nut is brass, and the truss rod cover Padauk.
Pickups are a set of Fibenare ALV-63N and ALV-63B humbuckers with a Y-65 single coil in the center position.
The finish is a natural gloss with a light amber shading around the edges.
Fibenare guitars originated during 1998 in the Budapest, Hungary shop of the Benedek brothers. These fine instruments are now distributed worldwide and the Fibenare booths at the major trade shows draw significant interest.
This Fibenare Erotic Dalmat model plays very well and the relatively light weight is a real treat.
The original custom hard shell case is included, and contains the trem arm and Certificate of Authenticity.
