Brand: Fibenare
Instrument Categories: Dulcimer, Electric, SOLD, Solidbody, Thinline
Fibenare guitars originated during 1998 in the Budapest, Hungary shop of the Benedek brothers. These fine instruments are now distributed worldwide and the Fibenare booths at the major trade shows draw significant interest.
The Fibenare Basic Jazz Single Cut Standard follows a familiar theme visually, using a single cutaway mahogany back with a carved, flame maple cap and pairing that with a mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. The body, however, is heavily chambered making the guitar exceptionally light, resonant and comfortable. The bridge is a wraparound style, and the tuners are familiar (and light) Kluson-style with keystone buttons. The pickups are Fibenare alv-63 models.
This Fibenare Basic Jazz guitar plays very well and the light weight is a real treat.
The build quality is quite high and the finish is clean and has very little wear. We are dating this guitar to 2010 based on the serial number, but perhaps Fibenare will confirm this.
The original hard shell case is included.
